The inexpensive ion exchanger
MELAdem 40 facilitates the economical production of demineralised water (aqua dem) in the practice. In accordance with the ion exchange principle, ions contaminating mains water (e.g. calcium, magnesium etc.) are exchanged for hydrogen and hydroxide ions. In this way, MELAdem 40 delivers high quality feed water for automatic supply to MELAG steam sterilizers of the Premium-Class, the Pro-Class and Euroklav. Given an average water hardness of the tap water, the capacity of a cartridge is sufficient for c. 1,100 liters of high-quality demineralised water.

Included is a water branch for easy 6mm line connection. If you do not need this part please let us know.
We strongly recommend adding on a water stop valve to the installation.
